              Welcome to Spanish II,III and the start of a new academic year at Gulf Breeze High School.  My name is Señora Landfair and I am very excited to be teaching your child Spanish.  I am sure that together we will make this a great year for them.

       I have a degree in Spanish from George Mason University.  I learned my Spanish living in Bogotá, Colombia for 4 and a half years. My family then moved to Spain where we lived in Madrid for 2 years.  This year will be my tenth year teaching at Gulf Breeze High school and I am looking forward to this new year.

         Although foreign language is considered an elective, it is a college prep course.  A student must have two years of a foreign language and maintain a C or better to meet the requirements to attend a four year institution in the state of Florida. Students who maintain a 94 average through Spanish I and II and the first semester of Spanish III, will be invited to join the GBHS Chapter of La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica!!

        Together, I believe we can work hard and have a great productive year.
